
Those inner critic voices in my head were screaming into their bull horns by this point. They were so loud that I was afraid they would take over.

For many of us, that voice is not actually our own. It’s the resounding chorus of everyone who has ever put us down throughout our lifetimes.

As adults, we settle into a routine. We establish careers. We build families and friend circles that don’t change regularly. We’re not greeted with regular opportunities to learn or face our limitations. We have to actively seek new opportunities and we get to choose whether to face our fears or walk away.

Who will you be in a year if you give yourself permission to do what you want and need to do? Who will you be if you do not?
